Connells Survey & Valuation provides chartered surveying services to a number of major UK Banks and Building Societies. Surveyors are equipped with the latest technology including tablet PCs which enables the capture of electronic data during on-site inspections. Fingertip access to the latest software systems and applications provides the most up to date information and data, enabling the surveyors to complete and return valuation reports on the day of inspection and provide high quality professional advice.
Over the last 10 years Connells Survey & Valuation has provided valuation services to many of the leading UK Social Housing providers, whether large or small, national or local. Connells Survey & Valuation provide advice in respect of right to acquire (RTA) and right to buy (RTB) applications, shared ownership and stair-casing applications together with valuations for the acquisition or disposals of stock.
Working towards net zero
We take sustainability seriously and have begun working towards setting some ambitious targets to reduce our impact on the environment, and to make sure our contributions become greater than the impact of our business operations.
By partnering with independent organisation Energy Savings Trust (EST) we’re taking our approach to zero carbon to the next level, setting clear targets to reach net zero in line with the scientific consensus on what the trajectory to net zero should be, and taking clear, impactful action that will guide many of our business decisions in the future.
EST’s Measure, Plan, Act service measures our greenhouse gas emissions and will support us in creating a net zero strategy based on science-based targets, and then implementing solutions to reduce emissions.
Key commitments for 2023 include measuring operations emissions across our buildings to make them more ‘green’ and taking steps towards a lower zero emission fleet.
Also in response to the growing demand for homes to be more energy-saving, the EPC+ Report provides homeowners, sellers and landlords with better understanding of their property’s impact on the environment, how they can achieve better energy efficiency and, ultimately, how they can make ‘greener’ choices. Alongside its environmental benefits, the report provides customers with clear, achievable options to save on their bills and add value to their homes.
